10 on the 10th: March Edition

This month, I thought I'd do a list of celebrations. Every March we are jam-packed with events because there are a lot of things to celebrate! It's great because we get to see a bunch of people we love and have lots of goodies. Here are 10 things to celebrate this month:

1. Our 4 year anniversary: March 11th. Wow, time really does fly. I am so in love with my husband and happy to celebrate our four years with an awesome date night tomorrow!

2. Kevin's birthday: March 17th. He'll be 31 years old and we're so excited that Laura could come to town to help him celebrate.

3. Chuck's birthday: March 15th. A great friend indeed.

4. Sammy's birthday: March 18th. Can't believe he'll be four years old already. What a sweet boy! And, if you came to our wedding, you'll remember that he was inside Molly's belly, a week away from being born!

5. Andrew's birthday: March 20th: The sweetest and funniest little guy in the world will be 3 this year! He's also pledged to be my son-in-law someday. It's gonna take a special guy to keep up with Miss Ella!

6. Molly and Ryan's anniversary: March 15th. A wonderful couple and awesome friends to have. A quick story about their wedding: Around the time they got married (7 years ago), I was feeling very single. Ryan's great Aunt Julia, an awesome woman of God, told me that the Lord told her that I would meet my husband that year before the holidays. My first date with Kevin? The day before Thanksgiving that year.

7. Spring training: This one's for Kevin. He LOVES baseball and his Dodgers. I am happy that he gets to go to a couple games this year, including one on his birthday!

8. Oneida and Caleb's wedding: March 7th. This one has passed, but it was an awesome celebration! Thank you guys for inviting us. We had a wonderful time!

9. A weekend away: March 26-27. I am so very excited that I get to go on a little girls' trip down to Tucson in a couple of weeks. We are going to see Beth Moore speak and have so much fun!! Also, thank you to Kevin for staying with the kids!

10. Visits from family: March 12-18. Dave, Vanessa, and Briggs are coming this weekend for a visit and we are so excited. It's been a long time since we've seen them and we're looking forward to watching Luke and Briggs run around like little knuckleheads. Also, on the 13th Laura is coming for a visit! Hooray! We can't wait to see her and get a chance to hang out. So glad she'll get some time to see the kiddos at this stage and also be with Kevin on his birthday!

Ella-zilla

Little Ella is into everything...especially now that she is walking! She started taking a few steps at a time around 8 1/2 months, but now, at 9 months she is full blown walking. We started calling her Ella-zilla when she began crawling and getting into Luke's things. Luke says it as "Ellaspella". We borrowed the name from the Ellisons, who lovingly called their little boys with the 'zilla nickname to soften the blow to the older ones that the baby was gonna wreck their stuff from time to time.



One of our favorite games to play is for Ella to crawl (now walk) around the corner and into Luke's room. It makes both kids squeal with delight. Here is an example!
