I've had some people ask more specifics about free/cheap places we can go that are indoors for the summer, so here is my list so far. Please comment if you can add more ideas!
Pecos Park splash pad (not indoors, but cool!)
Ikea/Dick's sporting goods (for Luke)
Brilliant Sky Toys and Books
Chandler Mall/AZ Mills Mall
Tempe Library Storytime (10:30 on Tuesdays)
Ironwood Library
Barnes and Noble, if they have the train table
Lakeshore Learning--tons of "display toys" for the kids to interact with
We have a pass to the Children's Museum of Phoenix and we're going to also get a pass to the Arizona Museum for Youth in Mesa. A.M.Y. is great for the little kids, smaller, and less busy than the Phoenix one. If anyone ever wants to go any of these places with us, we'd love the company! Getting out and seeing people is very helpful in keeping the crazies away :).
