When playing catch (which we spend probably and hour a day doing right now):
Luke: Mama, you will be the catcher and I will be the glover.
Driving
in the car:Luke: When I was a little boy, I threw a rock and hit Goliath in the head and he fell down.
Me: That wasn't you, silly, that was David.
Luke: No it was me. And then I poked him with my sword.
On our walk this morning:
Luke: When I was a monkey, I swinged in those trees.
When Kevin was tickling him:
Luke: (giving Kevin a serious look) I am rooting for the Diamondbacks! (He sure knows how to cut deep!)
The other day when we were swimming, we found a dead cicada in the pool. We scooped it out and put it on the pool deck. A few minutes later, a bird came and got it and ate it. When we got home he told Kevin, "A bird ate the cica-duck. It was so, so gross."
Pointing to a painting of tulips in our living room:
Luke: When I was a fireman, I painted that.
Not sure where he gets some of these, but it keeps us entertained! What a goofball. But he is our goofball, and we love him.
Also, Luke has been making a lot of faces lately. I captured a few of them for you.
He's looking a lot like Kevin.
